I am a PhD candidate in the Computational Sciences and Engineering Program of Kadir Has University. I currently work in Nodds Lab under the supervision of Dr. Deniz Eroglu. My research focuses on time series analysis by combining dynamical systems and machine learning. In particular, I am interested in data-driven network neuroscience. A little bit background of mine
I have a BSc and MSc in Physics Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. I studied molecular dynamics until I started PhD in the same department. After completed courses and passed the qualification exams I transferred my PhD to Kadir Has University for the reserach project I work on now. In this former Phd, I was working on statistical physics motivation analysis of artificial neural networks to understand their success on learning tasks.
In addition to my main line of research, I have broad interest in the works on social dynamics. My passion on understanding the emergence of collective behaviour in social networks has started with one course. Also, I read mostly on the concept of casuality in machine learning.
I draw the characters from my favorite movies and series. I have a personal blog in Turkish. I am passionate about Istanbul. I also love decoration but I didn’t know this interest before I stuck at home…
